Blind Pony Lake serves as the water supply for the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Blind Pony Hatchery. Fishing and hunting are the main activities here with a good population of bass, sunfish, and catfish. Deer, waterfowl, and dove hunting also available in the Blind Pony Lake Conservation Area. Many of the bass can be as long as 15 inches. Private boats are not allowed, but you can bring your own electric trolling motors and use one of the Department boats – first come first serve. The area has few facilities namely a fishing dock, fishing platform, parking lot, picnic tables, pavilion, and restrooms. Fishing enthusiasts will surely enjoy the abundance of fish in the lake.
