Clearwater Lake is located about six miles from Piedmont, Missouri. This lake lies along the Black River and is utilized for recreation and flood control of the White and Lower Mississippi River. This scenic lake is also called the “Gem of the Ozarks”. It is a great place to take the family with numerous activities for the whole family. Bluff View, Piedmont Park, and Webb Creek are popular campgrounds on the lake. You can go camping, swimming, boating, skiing, and fishing. You can even play golf at Canyon Club. There are three marinas located on the lake. The lake area also has a lot of public land available for hunting.
