Flight Lake Conservation Area features 54 acres of native prairie as well as wetlands, forest and old fields. Waterfowl hunting is the notable activity here. In fact, the area used to be a local duck club. You will also find some deer, rabbit, squirrel, and turkey. Flight Lake is the only lake in this conservation area. Fishing is allowed, but you will have better luck at hunting than fishing here. Bird watching is also possible. There are no facilities other than a parking lot.

Seven miles north of Nevada on Highway 71 and 2.5 miles west on Route D, then four miles south on Route O. At the sign on Route O, take gravel road 1200 south for one mile, then turn west on Lady Road.
