Pomme de Terre River, which is a tributary of the Osage River, is 130 miles long starting in the Ozarks in Green County. Beginning canoeists will enjoy the slow yet clear Pomme De Terre River, which you can float above or below Pomme de Terre Lake. This river is a part of the Mississippi River watershed. If you are looking for facilities your best option would be at Pomme de Terre State Park, where you will find camping, hiking, boating, and a lake with plenty of things to do.

From Fair Grove, head east on W Old Mill Rd toward S Main St 0.9 mi. Continue onto MO-125 S/S Grove Rd. Continue to follow MO-125 S 7.6 mi. Turn left onto E State Hwy Dd 2.7 mi. Continue onto J Rd 2.0 mi. Turn right onto Creek Bluff Dr 115 ft. Turn left to stay on Creek Bluff Dr 358 ft. Take the 1st left 469 ft.
