The White River starts in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas flowing through southern Ozarks of Souther Missouri. The North Fork of the White River has great waters for kayaking, canoeing, and rafting. It is also one of the best Trout fishing and fly fishing spots in all of Missouri. One popular spot is on the tailwaters of Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas. Another popular trout fishing spot on the White River system is Lake Taneycomo, which is just below the Table Rock Lake dam. A great spot for floating the river is from Nora to Norfork Lake.
